Byzantine, from Tiberias, ca 50 cm
x 40 cm
Note: the lower base of the title
number 4445 is marked with a felt
pen on a white background and there
are remains of a plasterer white
around title.
2 - basalt millstone, ca 70 x 50 cm
Note: The parallel grooves grooved
stone and wood-like pattern center.
3 to 8 - Bronze Age basalt stones
with craters from the excavations
at Migdal Haemek.Diameter about 30
to 40 cm, height about 40 cm.
9 & 10 - broken Byzantine
millstones of basalt, from a donkey
powered mill at Tel Megiddo.
