Seated gold bearded god, Hama, Syria

This piece was initially reported to Interpol as missing from Damascus Museum in July 2011, but in fact was stolen from Hama Museum.

[I thought that sharing the information so that it could be found was more important, but the 'experts' at Global Heritage Fund issued a report trashing me for listing it as missing from Damascus, based on information provided to Interpol ... anyway, their organisation no longer exists, I do not and never have run Interpol, and the piece is still missing from Hama].

Dick Osseman has very kindly allowed us to use his photos of Hama Museum, Syria (see his album).

Please ask him for permission to used them before lifting his photos (a lot of groups have scraped my database over the years and copied and pasted it into 'their' databeses - just drop him an email, and ask first).
