Sarcophagus with winged Genii holding a clipeus with a portrait of a woman (no inv. nr.)

Excavated in 1925-1926 on the Isola Sacra. Stolen in 1942-1944. 

Found again in 1995 in Spoltore (Pescara), Villa De Pasquale-Acerbo.

Returned? status unclear


Date: early third century AD. W. 1.90, ht. 0.65, d. 0.65 cm.
