Alabastron [Formerly Museum No. 14]
Late Corinthian, mid 6th century BC
Painted terracotta (h. 8.5 inches)
Frontal bull’s head on one side and a swan on
the other, with filling ornament of large incised rosettes picked out
with purple paint and a few crosses.
