Byzantine cameo, 11th C, stolen from Gotha, WW2, in collection of William M. Milliken 1969

 

This was last noted in the collection of William M. Milliken, former director of the Cleveland Museum, when he loaned it to an exhibition at the Met in 1969. The Cleveland cameo was acquired from Richard H. Zinser, and this one may well have been too.
