Description

Five fragments have been preserved, resulting in a coherent rectangle. Two splinters are missing, at the bottom a crack.The old Persian text is almost complete with 10 lines. The plaque was probably originally square and trilingual; the inscription: Divine doantion of land by Ahuramazdā to King Ᾱryāramna.

Provenance

Acquired by Professor Herzfeld in Persia in 1929. Transferred by the Prussian Minister of Culture Professor Becker. Circumstances of loss: loss during the war.
